The perfect Summertime treat. Add a twist to the traditional Green Tea Ice Cream with this sweet and savory Matcha based creation. Made with our Matcha Muscle Culinary and coconut milk its easier than ever to make small batch ice cream from home.
Matcha Ice Cream Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon Matcha Culinary
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
Matcha Ice Cream Directions
1.) Add Matcha Culinary to a small bowl and whisk well removing any clumps. Add a coconut milk and continue to whisk until Matcha is completely dissolved.
2.) Add cream and Matcha Culinary Milk mixture in a pot over low heat. Stir occasionally until heated through; about 5 minutes.
3.) Whisk sugar and eggs together in a bowl. Pour half of the cooked Matcha cream mixture into the egg and sugar mixture and stir well. Then add remaining Matcha Mixture and return to pot over low heat.
4.) Cook Matcha over low heat for another 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool at room temperature then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
5.) Pour cooled matcha mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
